     In the kingdom of Thelrangoturon, magic is commonplace, and magicians, wizards, and witches roam the towns. However, in the castle, others with magic have been disposed of thanks to the evil warlock Tabbris.

     Corrine is a new witch, tasked with keeping the Princess Evangeline safe from the schemes of the warlock. After several attempts on the princess's life, Corrine finds her undertaking more difficult than she had anticipated. When details from her past are brought to the surface, she is faced with a paralyzing fear that could cripple her.

     While she tries to make sense of what's happening, she must find the courage to face her demons, or Tabbris will triumph in his monstrous plan. With so many lives at stake, how can she afford not to fight?
